English in Progress is a newsletter that compiles and summarizes new writings concerning the English language.

The focus is on English language change, neologisms and world Englishes.

But there’s also sociolinguistics, etymology, phonology, lexicography, pragmatics, philology, word puzzle English, language technology, translation, editing and more, from (and for) the Anglosphere and beyond.

Written in plain English, so you don’t actually have to know what those previous words mean. (But if you do, it will still be interesting for you, promise!)

If you work with English, or just love languages, this newsletter is for you!

How often and when does the newsletter get sent out?
